The coconut tree is known as the tree of life in many tropical destinations. Every part of the tree can be used, and our Coco Bag is an example of this.
Palm fronds are sorted, with leaves being removed from the stem, and both sun dried for a number of days. Leaves are then cut into thinner strands and placed in boiling water before being sun dried again. This process creates the natural colour of the weave we see. Our coco bag is made using both the spine and the leaves of the palm frond, which insures the bag has structural integrity and retains its shape.
